Service Description

Individual therapy is a joint process between a therapist and a person in therapy. It provides a supportive environment that allows you to talk openly with someone who’s objective, neutral, and nonjudgmental. During individual therapy sessions, the conversation is often led by the person in therapy and can touch on topics such as past or current problems, experiences, thoughts, feelings, or relationships. By sharing experiences with a trained empathetic person - talking about your world with someone outside it - can be very helpful. The therapist may help you identify patterns of behavior or ways of thinking, learn coping skills, make sense of past traumatic experiences, set personal goals, and work toward desired change. The length of therapy will also depend on the individual's personal goals and the types of issues being addressed. Remember, everyone's journey is unique, and our therapists are here to provide support, encouragement, and a fresh perspective as you navigate your path to personal growth and well-being.
